I think there's some really interesting parallels between Rachel and Sue that haven't been explored much in fandom/fic (probably because their interaction on the show itself is almost non-existent) - specifically, their overwhelming egotism, their drive for success, and their isolation from others. Rachel has Finn and Sue has Jean, but that's really about it.
