Actually the Cooter storyline seemed to me to be more because she wasn't fulfilling his needs than anything else. He was saying "I'm a man, blah blah blah" but instead of acting like a goddamn man and talking to her about the status of their relationship, he went to another woman who could give him what he wanted (a regular booty call since the early 1990's no less).
