Same shit, different episode. I just don't understand how these writers can't see that what they always try to do with Finn doesn't work. When has a show had a main character that is so, so disliked by it's fandom? We are not going to brush aside every single time he's an insensitive dick just because he tries to do "the right thing." When that "right thing," is almost always for his own selfish reason. And no matter how hard they try, they do Finchel zero favors in us wanting them to stay together. That relationship is so toxic, they've done an OK job of not having them suck the life out of every episode like last season. But, with that being said I did like the scene when Finn gave her the real gifts, the star he gave her should have been named after her and not him, but the gesture was sweet.
I liked, "Let It Snow," a little more after seeing the number, but I think it's just the faster arrangement that I'm not very crazy about. Oh My God, "Candles," definitely Top 5 worst displays of pandering this show has done.
