Haha, I can totally understand brushing off the rest of the ep to focus on the special, because it really was just that great. I had a grin on my face the size of Kansas through the whole thing.
Agreed that, on the whole, it was much better than AVGC (although I'm firmly in a fandom minority on actually kind of sort of not hating that ep? Solely because it had a ton of Will/Sue and a little Will/Rachel).
If you decide to do anything with that plotbunny, I would love to read it!
